The 540FL is one of the best cameras for the money that we have ever produced.  An amazing 540 lines of resolution, and a 1/3” Sony Super HAD CCD dome camera.

Of course, one of the things that makes this dome camera outstanding is the fact that we use Sony security camera chipsets. As you may know, Rugged CCTV uses Sony security camera parts for almost all of our cameras. Sony gives us the longest life and the sharpest picture.

The 540FL uses a focus-free fixed lens and will deliver sharp, crisp video in almost all lighting conditions, and boasts low light handling down to 0.1 Lux. An incredible specification for a security dome camera in this price range.

Another amazing feature that ensures the best, noise-free pictures, is Sony's signal to noise ratio of greater than 52dB. That high number is hard to find anywhere. Just compare that number to any other camera out there, and you will find that most dome cameras have a number that is far lower than that.
